MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by
an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education
Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of
Education (USDE). Major course work in Business Administration,
Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. Each year of
experience as described below in excess of the required two years
may be substituted for fifteen semester hours from an accredited
college or university for each six-month increment of experience.

2. Two years full-time, wage-earning administrative support,
secretarial, or technical program support experience.

3. Two yars full-time, wage-earning computer operations experience.

4. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation
software programs preferred.

5. Parole process or criminal justice experience preferred.

6. Experience in the supervision of others preferred.

**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
be $3,837.50.**

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally
applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the

Skill to type 45 WPM net required (55 WPM net preferred) with no more than 10 errors.

A typing test may only be administered by either a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Human Resources Representative or through a Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) office (to include the Work Source, Workforce Development Centers). Typing test results **must** be attached to the State of Texas Application for Employment and **must** clearly reflect that the test was administered by either TDCJ or TWC.
