Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute the monthly and yearly financial closing processes, guaranteeing that financial reporting is not just accurate but also punctual.
Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts, prepare and scrutinize journal entries as needed, and make essential adjustments.
Perform monthly flux analysis, account reconciliations, and on-the-fly transactional research.
Collaborate effectively with both internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring complete compliance and delivering required documentation.
Recognize opportunities to streamline financial operations, automate tasks, and enhance systems for improved efficiency.
Actively participate in the implementation or upgrading of financial systems, providing your invaluable expertise and user support.
Teamwork and Leadership:
Offer guidance and mentorship to junior members of our accounting team, fostering their professional growth.
Promote cross-functional cooperation with departments like finance, operations, and legal, supporting strategic initiatives and addressing financial concerns.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing valuable insights and recommendations concerning accounting principles, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
While a CPA certification is highly desirable, its not mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting, with a preference for experience in a senior or supervisory role.
Profound familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards, particularly in the realms of revenue recognition and job cost accounting.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and a penchant for precision in financial analysis and reporting.
