Position Overview:

The Senior Account Executive is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with driving the growth of fiber optic sales and revenue across all vertical markets. This dynamic individual will identify and qualify new account leads, cultivate strong customer relationships, and align our products and services with the strategic vision of potential clients. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through proactive prospecting, client engagement, and a deep understanding of Extenet's solutions. This role requires exceptional sales acumen, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales process.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Relationship Building:Identify and qualify new account leads, nurture strong customer relationships, and maximize opportunities for fiber optic sales and revenue growth across various vertical markets.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with decision makers to understand their strategic objectives and needs, aligning Extenet’s products and services to capitalize on business opportunities.
Sales Achievement: Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through aggressive prospecting and promoting products and services to new and existing target account bases.
Prospecting and Custom Analysis: Utilize direct cold calling, relationship building, and custom analysis to prospect new business and present compelling proposals.
Sales Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, coordinating with internal support teams to ensure a smooth process from prospecting to installation.
Customer Relationship Maintenance: Maintain existing business relationships, securing revenue from long-term commitments, and applying industry knowledge to achieve revenue objectives.
Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on sales activities and performance using Extenet’s CRM tool.
Sales Forecasting: Develop an accurate and timely forecast of sales opportunities, maintaining records of customer activity for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 7 years of proven success in selling into the market.
Prior experience working with a Telecommunications provider.
Proficiency in Managed Private Optical Networks, Dark Fiber Solutions, WAN, Metro Ethernet, Fiber, Hosted IP, PRI, SaaS, Data Center, and Cloud.

Autonomous and Team Player: Work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.

Sales Achievement: Proven track record of consistently achieving targeted sales goals.
Customer Service and Relationship Building: Exceptional skills in providing customer service and building lasting client relationships.
Account Management and Strategic Selling: Thorough understanding of account management and the strategic selling process.
Problem Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Effective problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience is a plus.
