Based at our National Support Center, located in south Denver, Colorado (I-25 and Colorado Blvd) , we are seeking a high-energyJunior Graphic Designerto be a part of our Marketing Department. The Junior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing Team to assist in the production of high-quality visual content that embodies our brand, communicates our innovative product value, and resonates with our target audience. This key role in the department will collaborate with department leadership to maintain brand integrity, provide innovative visual solutions to complex marketing problems, and provide insights into trends and best practices in the visual communication space. The junior designer will utilize creative software. This role supports a variety of creative strategies, including social media, print advertising, email, signage, sales and marketing collateral, online video, and website design and upkeep.

HYBRID WORK OPTION

(2-days remote / 3-days in office)

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A TUFF SHED JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER?

The essential functions for this position include but are not strictly limited to:

Coordinate recurring marketing projects requiring design elements such as, promotional flyers, images for emails, logo placements, etc. resulting in consistent and timely project completion
Assist senior designers in creating graphics and visual content for presentations, company websites, and other marketing materials, working collaboratively with marketing team
Confirm brand adherence. Review and inspect product images, ensure designs align with Tuff Shed’s brand guidelines with internal and external partners for a consistent and streamlined branding experience
Revise designs based on feedback from team members for heightened product delivery
Continuously monitor essential design trends relevant to our brand and technologies used in graphic design
Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Tuff Shed management

Job Qualifications

Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
Familiarity with design principles, typography, and color theory
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the public
Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form
Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed

Skills And Experience

1-2 years of experience in graphic design, in a corporate or agency environment, preferred
Introductory experience or interest in motion graphics or 3D, preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or requisite experience preferred
