The Retail Media team at Trade School is one of our fastest growing business units. We’re continuing to invest in building the most talented team to scale our Retail Media practice. Trade School is focused on the sell side of retail media networks; we have a passion to help retailers strategically build their media networks.

Our team is built to act as an extension to our clients Retail Media team, such as The Home Depot, to play a role in building a media network that’s beneficial to their company and their advertiser partners. Our services include executive consultation, sales enablement, product marketing management, marketing & pr, monetization strategy and more.

The Group Director of Retail Media Sales Enablement will be a strategic leader focused on partnering with The Home Depot’s Retail Media+ sales team providing thought leadership on business growth strategy and sales operations resulting in revenue growth. You will lead a growing sales team at Trade School who are responsible for supporting RM+ sales teams in meeting revenue goals.

This role will report directly to the Executive Director of Retail Media at Trade School.

Responsibilities

Become a trusted advisor with sales leaders at The Home Depot on RM+ to provide counsel and thought leadership as they experience rapid growth
Lead Trade Schools sales team to achieve revenue targets through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data and projecting future performance
Manage Trade Schools Sales Strategy Supervisors to manage & plan pipeline to reach revenue goals while effectively reporting on revenue expectations to agency and client leadership
Ensure the sales enablement team is providing white glove service through media planning, activations, reports and upselling opportunities
Partner with Trade Schools leadership on critical sales strategy, developing organizational processes designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency
Build cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders including product and marketing to collaborate on strategic initiatives such as sales narratives, product sales training, product feedback, etc.
Drive long term account strategy for sales enablement group with ability to flex in addressing strategic and tactical needs to drive positive business outcomes
Be a trusted advisor to leaders at Trade School and The Home Depot creating opportunities to share knowledge, inspire and influence business

Desired Requirements

10+ years of experience in digital media sales, online advertising or sales leadership
Knowledgeable of Retail Media Networks and marketplace positioning
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
A strong background in sales & account management with ability to flex into sales operations
Experience in balancing short and long term growth initiatives for accounts
Track record of operational and financial excellence when managing your book of business (i.e. forecasting accuracy)
Working knowledge of sales systems and tools (i.e. salesforce)
Experience in managing teams, demonstrates leading and inspiring others
Comfortable working in complex and rapidly changing environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels
