Code2College is dramatically increasing the number of minority and low-income high school students who enter and excel in STEM undergraduate majors and careers and is looking to hire anExecutive Assistantto support its mission.

The successful candidate must be located in the greater Austin, TX area.

You will be working from a home office but there will be in-person expectations with this role. Up to 30% travel in the Austin, TX area to be expected.

OVERVIEW

AsExecutive Assistant, you will play a critical role in serving as the CEO’s gateway - ensuring that the Code2College staff and stakeholders continue to be the focus. You will support the CEO in prioritizing resources, time, and support the most strategic areas of focus.

Additionally, the Executive Assistant will:

Complete a broad range of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organization such as calendar management, arranging travel and accommodations, and following up on business development, stakeholder engagement and a variety of other executive-level interactions,
Draft and format internal and external communications and reports,
Keep the CEO informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up, as appropriate,
Provide support on a variety of other anticipated and ad hoc work streams and tasks.

Ideal candidates will have:

At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material with discretion.
Exceptionally strong communication, project management and time management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Ability to work well with people with a very wide diversity of demographic and cultural characteristics; must be capable of achieving results while maintaining an inclusive, collaborative leadership style.
Passion to work at an organization that is minority-led and focused on serving underrepresented minorities.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Authorization to work in the United States required.

WHAT WE OFFER

Code2College offers a competitive salary for this role. The salary range for this role is $55,000-$65,000. Typically, new hires are brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and midpoint, depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
