At Monument, we're building a vertical software platform for the self-storage industry. This is a rare opportunity to reinvent a $30 billion market from the ground up.

As our QA Manager, you will be accountable for all of Quality at Monument, including strategy, automation, standards, metrics and reporting and build a quality team from scratch - no tech debt or legacy processes.

Your Responsibilities

Build automated tests to verify complex business rules and workflows, application performance, and data integrity.
Establish standards that enable Monument to ship high quality features quickly and mentor software development engineers on unit test best practices.
Own Monument's testing framework and tooling.
Implement a framework to map features to test cases and track test coverage.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define and document test cases that thoughtfully consider all scenarios and edge cases.
Proactively pinpoint opportunities to improve quality and devise solutions to achieve them.
Serve as a technical lead for the manual QA's.

Who You Are

5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer (or similar) for web applications.
Experience leading a high performance QA team covering both manual and automation.
Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or other web application E2E testing framework.
Experience with API and load automation testing.
Experience with SQL.
You thrive in a team setting and are excited to collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering.
You have extremely high standards for quality and take initiative to achieve them.
You take your commitments seriously and are driven to achieve results.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
You have agile experience.

Monument supports remote work for this position. We also have an office in Dallas, TX where team members are welcome to work.
To ensure alignment and cohesion, Monument holds quarterly in-person all-hands gatherings in the Dallas, Texas area. All team members are expected to attend.
