Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies with the sales team, identify useful sales tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness in market
Ensure resources are aligned for the sales organization on local Industry and Customer Trade Show events
Lead new customer set up and onboarding process
Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
Manage the sales operations team and analyze data to understand how net profitable sales can be improved
Manage sales data metrics across multiple classes of trade and deliver actionable business insights
Lead the sales forecasting process in conjunction with key stakeholders from field sales
Collaborate with sales team to fully execute business plans at the customer level
Manage tools and resources needed for the fields sales team to execute in market (price lists, specifications, samples etc).
Accountable for sales & trade forecast signals
Lead training initiatives for direct sales team and 3rd party sales agencies

Strong organizational skills and process management
Financial acumen and the ability to work well with data
Computer skills to create presentations utilizing MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Collaborate well with associates and demonstrate a winning team spirit
Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements
Ability to work cross functionally with Demand Planning, Marketing, Sales Strategy and Finance
Develop proficiency in Sovos internal platforms to support the team tracking retailer ads and promotional events

Minimum Requirements

4 year undergraduate degree
3+ years experience in professional./corporate environment
CPG Food Industry experience strongly preferred

Location Requirements or Preferences

Remote
Preferred Locations: Charlotte, NC/Montclair, NJ/Bellvue, CO
Employees located near Sovos offices, 3 days in the office will be required
