Position:Manager, Quality Assurance

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Various Unanticipated Worksites)

Responsibilities: The QA Manager will own the overall end-to-end quality of InStride’s software platform and digital offerings, championing quality assurance standard methodologies, and innovation. Lead and own the quality of the products at the company level, entire QA approach including Function testing, exploratory testing, performance testing, integration & E2E testing. Work closely with other Engineering and Product teams to continuously improve team practices, culture, and process. Plan, coordinate and support the implementation of a balanced and reliable suite(s) of automated tests in support of our CI/CD pipelines. Own the product quality and be the gatekeeper for engineering releases, and work with a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product delivery. Develop innovation strategies, processes, and standard methodologies. Own the work of a small group of engineers, assigning engineering projects, and planning and coordinating shared QA resources for different teams. Help Agile teams to maintain a good balance between product velocity and quality. Own the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with the high-level design. This position involves telecommuting. The position is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA but employee will be permitted to work from home at various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the United States.

Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or related field, plus five (5) years’ post-baccalaureate experience as a QA Engineer, Performance Engineer, or related. Experience must include planning test strategy, design scenarios, script, and executing tests. Must have experience with Mongo DB, SQL, Redis, Postman, SOAP UI, Firebug, Akamai, Apigee and Splunk. Position will be headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, and allows for telecommuting from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Salary range: $150,000 to $170,000 per year

Target base compensation amount for this role outlined below. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts shown below.
