American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc (AESI) has a full-time opening for a VP of Global Sales.

Job Summary

The Vice President, Global Sales will develop, plan, and implement the long-range direction of the organization’s sales function in coordination that meets the strategy of the company’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. The position will lead practices and objectives for productivity standards and goal attainment.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the executive leadership team, defines and develops the go to market strategy for the American Energy Storage Innovations (AESI).
Establish and implement processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization’s operations.
Provides vision and leadership to the sales and organization, developing overall sales strategy, operational plans and processes that drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives.
Leads the business development efforts in securing MOU’s, contracts, and orders for the ESS products & services.
Participates in developing and managing the AESI product roadmap.
Sets annual objectives, monetary goals, and budgets according to short- and long-term goals or the organization.
Build effective sales teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.
Accountable for negotiating contracts, initiating proposals, and closing deals.
Seek out and source new clients by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for sales and business development.
Develop and maintain high-profile external relationships within client constituents, professional trade organizations, etc. (public relations presence).
Monitor overall client, sector/services/offerings potential as well as opportunity and market and competitor activities to provide insights and feedback to company leaders.
Conducts financial feasibility studies and develops proposals for new business opportunities.
Responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities.
Research for, prepare, and present at industrywide events.
Adhere to federal and state regulations.
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in sales or business development and client relationship management.
Experience with establishing overall direction and strategic initiates for an organization, division or line of business.
Minimum of eight (8) years progressive leadership experience achieving vice president, executive director or division head role.
Demonstratable experience in effective communications and negotiations with “C” suite executives.
Knowledge of customer relationship management CRM software, enterprise resource planning ERP software, and Business intelligence and data analysis software. Salesforce experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate with suppliers, employees, and potential customers effectively and professionally.
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
Ability to negotiate and network.
Organizational skills (i.e., be methodical, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time).
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50%.
