LRE Water is seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and passionate Proposal Coordinator to join our Denver-based Marketing team. Our ideal candidate is creative, organized, and self-motivated to produce quality work. This person will lead the design and production of proposals and qualification packages to win new work and increase name recognition. This position will collaborate with staff across four regions and report to the Marketing Manager. This position generally has at least 2 years of experience crafting competitive proposals in the Architecture / Engineering / Construction (A/E/C) industry.

We prepare our competitive proposals and qualifications responses using a combination of InDesign and Google platform tools. Proficiency across both the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. Work-life balance is prioritized, and we rarely exceed a 40-hour work week.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the design and production of proposals and qualification packages.
Establish and oversee the schedule and production of deliverables, from kick-off discussion through submission.
Craft proposal content using a positive tone and persuasive communication techniques.
Write and edit for one voice to maintain consistency in grammar, commonly used terms, document flow, messaging, and win themes.
Monitor posting sites for RFP releases and addendums.
Create and manage templates.
Maintain an organized system for keeping marketing assets updated and accessible.
Continually input and analyze databases (positioning opportunities, proposal success, contract awards).
Research and report on market conditions, customer data, and competitor activities.
Help define and implement marketing plans and editorial calendars, and analyze campaign success.
Assist the Marketing Director with other marketing requests such as development of collateral, materials for conferences, social media, website updates, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English Lit/Writing, Advertising, English, Business Administration, or related field required
Proficient with InDesign
Intermediate to advanced Google platform skills (or similar collaborative environment)
2+ years crafting competitive proposals and providing marketing services in the A/E/C industry
Active involvement in Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) a plus

Travel Requirements

Although rare, some travel opportunities may be available to visit satellite offices across the United States.

Total Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $25 - $33/hour depending upon years of experience and education. Pay is negotiable for a higher level of experience. LRE Water reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range depending on experience. LRE Water also distributes bonuses and 401(k) contributions based on annual company profitability. Employer paid benefits increase total compensation by approximately 20%. Additionally, LRE Water supports training and professional development activities for all staff and offers discretionary bonus opportunities as recognition for performance, earning a professional credential, speaking engagements or publication.

Flexible/Hybrid Work Options

LRE Water offers a hybrid work environment that promotes flexibility for our employees and encourages work/life balance. This role will be based out of the Denver, Colorado office with the flexibility to work 1 to 3 days/week remotely. Work may require travel, long days, weekend work, and night work that will occasionally result in weeks with more than 40-hours of work. Mileage, expenses, and/or per diem paid for work travel.
