Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, an excellent communicator, meticulous, prepared to take the initiative and exhibit the following skills:
  • Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years semiconductor product experience
  • Strong analog design skills
  • Digital design knowledge
  • Strong leadership and management experience
  • Strong planning skills are essential
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion through close coordination across multiple groups
  • Knowledge of complete product development lifecycle (Definition, Design, testing, qualification, production, support, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S
  • 1324b(a)(3) - may have to go through an export licensing review process
  • Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will lead and manage a design and development team for the Industrial Power Systems group
  • All aspects of development will be handled by the team, including design, verification, and validation
  • Working with other groups to define new products and performance specifications
  • Designing and simulating integrated circuits
  • Driving thorough design reviews
  • Leading and developing a team of engineers
  • Guiding the circuit layout and test plan development for production
  • Working with other groups to review silicon performance from the lab and analysing pre-production test data
  • Work with cross functional team: design, IC layout, test, marketing, packaging, QA, applications
  • Reviewing device datasheets and presenting new products to customers
  • Support release to production (characterization, statistical analysis, setting test limits)
  • Assisting in the support of customer applications and any product issues

Benefits

  • The wage range for a new hire into this position is $160,056 to $227,772
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
