Qualifications
- at ease creating scenarios, sketches, story boards, wire-frames, and prototypes
- able to visualize an experience in the abstract, break down complex use-cases and then be able to drive the vision into solid design deliverables
- think first from the customer’s perspective, use research and data to influence your designs, set relentlessly high standards for yourself and deliver best-in-class customer experiences
- 3+ years of industry UX Design experience
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving
- Experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
- Outstanding skills in professional design tools - Figma experience is a must
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience
- A strong portfolio of innovative design work that demonstrates industry-leading design and business success
- Experience designing for global products across multiple platforms
- You will need an online portfolio of your work to apply for this role
- Keen interest in, or knowledge of, banking or finance
- Experience in POS and/or retail, KIOSKs etc
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Specialist, UX Designer, you’ll be contributing to this mission for our retail and omnichannel customers
- Work closely with research, senior stakeholders, product managers and engineering teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Sketch / Figma, along with our established Design System
- Ensure that designs follow best practices and use research & testing to inform and validate
- Confidently challenge the status quo, encouraging all involved to address root causes to ensure the best outcome for users
- Apply a positive and constructive attitude when giving and receiving all feedback
- Deliver high-quality design assets to the engineering team, along with clear guidance to ensure all aspects of the designs are fully understood
- Provide ongoing support to engineering, with regular UX review checkpoints to ensure quality and that the system is being built as designed
