Qualifications
- Required Skill Set :A U.S. government DOD- Secret issued security clearance is required
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe) Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation (CKA certified if possible)Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible
- Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
- Kubernetes/Docker) VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere)
- Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
- Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify)
- General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
- Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
- Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor)
Responsibilities
- These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset
- This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control
- The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting DevOps solutions in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment utilizing common DevOps tools such as: Chef, Ansible, Terraform for our programs as we develop our modernized systems
