Aquatic Informatics - Business Development Representative - Hybrid

Qualifications
- You are someone who is looking to grow a career in sales or marketing by mastering foundational business development processes
- You’ve likely completed a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma and you are a driven, high performer who enjoys talking with others and thrives in a dynamic setting
- 1-2 years of BDR/sales experience
- Preferably in B2B or B2G (business to government) organizations
- You’re great at uncovering the needs of potential clients over the phone and aligning them with the appropriate solution
- You’re results-focused and able to meet and exceed individual pipeline and revenue goals
- You have great communication skills and can partner closely with the sales team to ensure follow-up on all potential clients that are passed on to an account executive
Responsibilities
- Each day you will reach out to our customers in strategic markets and geographies to generate qualified leads by introducing Aquatic Informatics, our solutions, and services
- You will represent Aquatic Informatics as a leader in water data management software and provide an excellent customer experience with each point of contact, and reach out multiple times to each lead to drive connection
- You will prioritize timely follow-up communications to meet Service Level Agreements with the intention of facilitating needs-based conversations to convert leads to product demos and qualified opportunities
- Your goal will be to understand the needs, challenges, and priorities of each customer in order to best align them with the appropriate resources or internal teams for follow-up
- You will demonstrate a clear understanding of our product and service value propositions to identify customer gaps and challenges, convey information clearly to help generate curiosity and create a sense of urgency

- The salary range for this role is $24.00 - $31.25/hour
- The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons
- This job is also eligible for bonus pay
