Responsibilities

  • The VP of Sales responsibilities include having in-depth knowledge and understanding of their market and knowing competitive products
  • They must also be excellent communicators with excellent customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals
  • Ultimately, you will work with leaders across our sales team to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals

  • Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations 2
  • Outline and manage sales budgets 3
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals 4
  • Motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals 5
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities 6
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting 7
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction 8
  • Assists in developing annual sales plans to support the organization strategy and objectives
  • Directs and follows implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Manages multiple selling strategies
  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work
  • Travel This position requires travel, up to 30% most travel is outside the local area and overnight
