Qualifications

  • A “hunter” - someone who is excited by the opportunity to introduce companies to products that will help them achieve their goals
  • An established sales person whose proven they can work from home and successfully manage a multi-state territory
  • Driven, but with a strong customer service orientation
  • A strong knowledge base of door components and what door manufacturers are looking for in partners
  • Past success selling to the same customer base (prehung door manufacturers, door manufacturers or window manufacturers)
  • A strong understanding of Eastern Pine and/or Ponderosa Pine would be beneficial
  • Past success opening up new customers, particularly in the window and door manufacturing space
  • A valid Driver's License and Passport is required due to international travel requirements

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for prospecting and converting target companies into customers in the Midwest territory
  • The opportunity to build a book of business with a product that has strong demand in the territory and has the opportunity to be the primary or secondary provider to the manufacturer to get your foot in the door
  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring that you manage your time, travel, your target accounts, and customers to win new business and maintain the business you win
  • You’ll work directly for the company and receive excellent training and support with access to the President to help win over prospective customers and close deals
