Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio highlighting design projects
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work with design mock-ups to create a consistent UI
- Understanding of section 508 UI accessibility standards
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Responsibilities
- This person will work with agile scrum teams to support front-end user interface design for various applications including cloud
- As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric designs for our digital products
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to translate user needs and business goals into compelling design solutions
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of business objectives and tailor UI/UX design solutions to meet specific client needs
- Proficiently grasp the intricacies of the application to ensure seamless integration of design elements with its functionality
- Perform comprehensive user research to gain insights into the preferences and needs of target users, ensuring a user-centric approach in design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions
- Iterate and refine designs based on feedback and testing results
- Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and validate design assumptions
- Analyze testing results and implement improvements based on insights
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals
- Communicate design concepts effectively and advocate for user-centered design principles on assigned projects and within the organization
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance design skills and knowledge
