Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of sales leadership experience in the hospitality flooring or hospitality related industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share
  • A strong network of contacts within the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the East Coast region

Responsibilities

  • As the Vice President of Sales – East Coast, you will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and fostering strong customer relationships within the hospitality flooring industry
  • You will bring your deep industry knowledge and extensive network to support and empower our sales representatives in the region
  • This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies, build and manage a high-performing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives
  • Sales Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the east coast sales team, setting clear goals and strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the hospitality flooring industry to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and use this insight to inform sales strategies
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry to enhance market presence and drive business growth
  • Team Development: Train and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans, promotional activities, and market penetration tactics
  • Customer Engagement: Personally engage with major clients and prospects to build rapport, understand their needs, and negotiate deals when necessary
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth
