Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry expertise in eCommerce, travel technology, and/or SaaS technology sales
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstratable track record of building high-quality pipelines and exceeding revenue targets
  • Deep understanding of business development strategies, market dynamics, and industry trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to develop innovative solutions
  • Understand MEDDIC sales framework
  • A desire to learn, embrace new concepts, and be passionate about solving problems creatively to create business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Must reside in Denver/Boulder, Colorado area

Responsibilities

  • You will have the opportunity to impact our overall sales targets by generating revenue through the identification of new opportunities, as well as working new leads from the marketing pipeline
  • You will be responsible for identifying and leading prospects through the early stages of the buyer's journey through awareness and education of the Switchfly travel platform
  • Your primary responsibilities include inbound and outbound prospecting, nurturing leads, consistent follow up, collaborating with the sales team, and qualifying opportunities through independent prospecting and relationship development
  • Identify potential clients through market research to target ICPs to drive pipeline
  • Identify potential prospect pain points to effectively communicate Switchfly's relevant value propositions for the customer's business
  • Work closely with pre-sales resources and executives to facilitate timely responses to highly-qualified, high-revenue potential opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to deal closure
  • Effectively use HubSpot to maintain a high level of prospecting and outreach activities
  • Help prepare proposals based upon qualified opportunities
  • Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to establish and nurture client relationships
  • Work with clients and legal to negotiate and close contracts
  • Stay updated on the company's products and services, with a focus on SaaS solutions in the travel and technology sector
  • Provide regular reports and analyses to management on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts
  • Utilize your travel technology and SaaS industry experience to understand client needs and position our solutions effectively
