Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience/education
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience recruiting for exempt and non-exempt staff including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Engineering and Administrative
  • Experience working with staffing agencies, college/universities, outplacement firms, industry/technical publications, and job boards
  • Proven experience in closing offers of employment to meet the staffing needs of the organization
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of EEOC, DOL, FSLA, and ADA
  • High energy level and comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Ability to exercise creativity and be decisive – but also able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities
  • Results and people-oriented, with sound judgment – ability to balance business needs and priorities
  • Other duties as needed and assigned by the Vice President, Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization
  • This includes working closely with the hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and executing a hiring plan, sourcing candidates, qualifying candidates, scheduling interviews, applicant tracking, extending offers of employment and administrative duties related to the recruitment process
  • Recruit for all open positions (exempt & non-exempt) using a variety of sources (LinkedIn, job boards, job fairs, and university recruiting)
  • Ensure a best-in-class applicant experience throughout the interview & hiring process, adhering to all legal and brand standards
  • Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels for all positions within the organization
  • Utilize all sourcing methodologies including LinkedIn Recruiter, resume mining, and professional relationships with various associations (networking), university placement offices, etc
  • Conduct initial candidate screening to qualify the applicant by obtaining work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements
  • Manage the creation of requisitions, job postings and job descriptions through the ATS and other recruitment sites
