Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, developing, supervising and appraising personnel
  • Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications
  • Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production social media, etc
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and other members of staff
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Approximately 5% Out-of-town, overnight travel is required
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or similar area of study or equivalent years of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities

  • Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones
  • They play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals by carrying out the following duties and responsibilities
  • Essential Functions: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or required by management
  • Lead and manage direct marketing, public relations, advertising, online marketing, social media, event marketing and internal creative services
  • Direct the efforts of the marketing staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels across departments and divisions

  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all publications and collateral materials
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Create and Ensure that the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
  • Plan/Coordinate and Execute Expos/Tradeshows for overall company success
  • Build and Develop plan to track towards the budget for expense and income working with the Director of Vendor Relations
  • Increase Social Media Engagement and help support other departments on Social Media platforms, such as HR for Job Opening advertisement and communication
  • Help develop and make sure that the Organization’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the
  • Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the Organization’s key employees regarding the quality of programs
