Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree – Mechanical Engineering or other technical degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of Codes and standards (e.g
- Understanding of Manufacturing processes (machining, NDE, materials, testing, and welding)
- Experience in the nuclear power industry and customer facing experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee the purchase orders, specifications, and engineering design documentation for customers and decide the necessary requirements
- Participate in customer and third party audits. i.e
- Participate in Material Review Board
- Create and implement methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation
- Ensure the ASME/ANSI requirements are met for supplier quality procedures and certified material test reports
- You will review reports and product returns and recommend the appropriate corrective action
- Interface with employees engaged in measuring and testing products
- Attend meetings which may include quality of products with sales, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping, and recommending solutions to non-conformance issues
- Performs supplier evaluations and audit
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, work instructions, including safety and environmental
