Qualifications

  • Exceptional track record of scaling and leading a sales organization in a high growth company Proven track record of hiring, followership and development of Individual COntributors and first and second line managers/Directors
  • Experience selling into the C suite is required
  • Demonstrated experience defining and executing on a multi-tier sales model, including field-direct, inside and partner / channel sales
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and overcome sales, customer, and managerial challenges; proven ability to setting clear goals, assigning responsibilities, measuring performance and managing feedback to achieve quality and timely results
  • Superb communication, leadership and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the SVP Sales, the VP Sales will be responsible for an existing Sales team that is forecasted to double in size by end of 2022
  • This person will lead the strategic direction and management of the sales engine to fine-tune, optimize, scale, and successfully help the company meet its short and long-term objectives
  • As a trusted advisor, the VP of Sales must be an authentic collaborator, strong leader, and proactive, strategic problem solver
  • What you'll do Specific areas of responsibility include direct/inside sales and sales engineering
  • The VP is accountable for delivering accurate sales forecasts and ensuring sales reach or exceed forecasts
  • Working closely with the rest of the sales leadership team, the VP will influence technology, product line planning as well as other execution requirements
  • The VP will have primary responsibility for recruiting, hiring, training, developing and motivating a world class sales teams
  • Proficient understanding of solution selling processes, sales strategy, sales forecasting, and pipeline development
  • Conduct research into potential new clients to develop effective sales strategies in preparation for initial engagement Leverage existing base of industry clients as points of contact to promote Electric AI Work cross functionally to expand into new territories/verticals Define sales processes and strategies Own Sales Operations to define data-driven approach Oversee Marketing Organization for brand and demand generation efforts Who you are 10
