Reporting to our Director of Technology Innovation, the Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and automating all facets of technology infrastructure including infrastructure as code, continuous integration... and continuous delivery, and health monitoring and alerting. They will be extremely proficient at building, migrating to, and operating Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments with extensive hands-on experience. What You'll Accomplish - Your Performance Objectives Objective #1:
Within your first 30 days, build an understanding of the current technology landscape at ATP Through demos, reading and self-teaching learn the various software products and their tech stacks Gain an understanding of the various hosting methodologies at ATP, and more specifically ATP's implementation of AWS cloud native services Build, execute, and enhance documentation of existing build and deployment frameworks Demonstrate basic application and/or infrastructure troubleshooting skills Objective #2:
Within your first 90 days, work with the software development leads, QA automation leads, and DevOps to build a roadmap for the ATP's infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Implement various proof of concepts in order to present a proposed technical design, architecture and plan for an amalgamated CI/CD framework utilizing automation tools and scripts Manage, track, and document changes to infrastructure and CI/CD code with source control tools Manage and execute against a pipeline of requests for ongoing deployments and support Demonstrate ability to manage infrastructure by building and deploying a test environment in AWS Control Tower using infrastructure as code Objective #3:
Within your first 6 months, demonstrate ability to contribute to and deliver against ATP's engineering technology roadmap Provide regular progress on the implementation of infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Standardize infrastructure patterns, promote and enhance the use of shared services across the organization, and gain adoption across all product lines Develop infrastructure security gold templates including images, patching methodologies and open-source software license management Manage, track, and document changes to code with source control tools. Who We're Looking For - The Personal Competencies That Matter Tech Savvy:
You have 3-5 years of industry experience as a DevOps engineer You have hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch You have strong scripting experience in Powershell/Bash/Python You have hands-on experience to build and handle VM's, Containers utilizing tools likeDocker, etc. You have experience working with AWS Elastic BeanStalk (Java 8
Tomcat, .Net and .Net Core), AWS Managed RDS Service (SQL Server and Maria DB), AWS EKS (Java
Springboot, .Net Core) You have experience working with Terraform/Ansible for Infrastructure as Code
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
