Qualifications

  • Candidates should also have experience working cross-functionally within an agency setting
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years professional, relevant agency experience
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Strategic problem solver and decision maker
  • Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Must thrive in a team dynamic
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be available for up to 25% travel, with the ability to work nontraditional evening and weekend hours

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Account Executive specializing in Corporate Events, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the successful execution of corporate events
  • Assist in concept development, management and implementation of all aspects of programming
  • Ensure all aspects of events, from logistics to technology, meet or exceed client expectations
  • Build program decks - training manuals, presentation/concept decks, wrap reports
  • Proactively approach and anticipate internal and external concerns and maintain level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing demands
  • Daily contact with multiple clients, responding to and managing client requests and maintaining open and frequent communication
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event goals and objectives
  • Inspires/gains confidence of client team; develops tactical solutions; translates clients input and responds effectively and efficiently to client needs
  • Move projects forward to meet objectives and deadlines; anticipate challenges; manage time effectively; adhere to deadlines
  • Develop and manage status reports to ensure projects stay on course
  • Work closely with and provide leadership and guidance to junior team members to ensure programs are being flawlessly executed
  • Create, manage and track budgets; monitor and negotiate expenditures to stay within budget parameters
  • Elevate concerns, challenges, opportunities and wins to supervisor substantiated with market-level, solution-oriented insights
  • Source and manage multiple vendor/supplier relationships
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; share insights with the team and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning
