QA Automation Lead Engineer

Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with experience in tools such as Postman, JMeter, Selenium, BrowserStack, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent communication skills
- Diligent and outstanding organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff
- Problem-solving attitude
Responsibilities
- The role may occasionally require in-person meetups and travel
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Postman, JMeter, Selenium, and BrowserStack
- Implement BDD practices in the development and testing processes
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform detailed regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Conduct load testing to identify system bottlenecks and performance issues using Azure Load Testing, JMeter or similar
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Lead our QA best practices and standards and ensure they are followed across the organization
- Develop and maintain QA Test Cases best practices
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Benefits
- The base salary range for this position is between $109,710.00 to $136,500, plus bonus
- The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand
