Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Statistics
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis with eagerness to learn can make up for lack of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in creating detailed budget models
- Detailed Financial Modeling (Excel): 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities
- As the company grows, it is seeking a highly engaged financial analyst to lead financial analysis, budgeting, reporting as well as enhance underlying financial control systems
- This full-time role will be expected to tackle deep-dive financial analysis projects while also executing ongoing financial reporting duties
- Finally, this role will require an individual who is comfortable learning and operating within the company’s custom ERP software to enhance reporting, processes, and driving continuous improvement
- This individual will work closely with the Company’s President, VP, Controller, Project Managers, and other team members
- Company, Division and Project level budgeting as well as variance analysis
- Creation of budget models
- Preparing many ad hoc and standardized reports, participating in the research, design and creation of new reports as needed
- Acting as a liaison between Project teams and accounting team
- Taking pro-active measures to ensure division-wide compliance with financial control procedures
- Finding waste throughout the organization and driving improvement plans
- Prepare financial related analysis and research in area such as financial and cost saving performance measures
- Participate in annual budget process and cost saving activities in corporation with each unit part heads
- Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management
- Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings
