Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related subject area
- Prior knowledge and experience working with TypeScript and/or ES5 Javascript
- Prior knowledge and experience working with Next JS and/or React JS
- Prior knowledge and experience working with HTML5 and/or CSS3
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship
- Prior internship experience
- Experience with build tools like webpack, roll up, vite etc
- Experience with NX or other Monorepo tools
- Passionate about front end web development
Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer Intern on our team, you’ll have an opportunity to see the full development cycle of what a frontend library looks like in production and gain hands-on experience!
- You will be embedded directly within the development team and will work with designers to turn design specifications into reusable, production-ready React/Next.js & Vanilla JS components within the library
- You will also be responsible for maintaining, documenting, and supporting components within the Beam team
