Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of experience developing software products or matching level of skill and strengths
  • Company technical comprehension and proficiency in React, Typescript, Playwright, REST APIs, Storybook
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Integration with third-party APIs and services
  • Design eye and ability to produce pixel perfect recreations
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
  • Growth-mindset and ownership of mistakes and accidents
  • Comprehension of complex problems
  • Successful stakeholder communication
  • Anticipation and communication of blockers
  • Customer awareness/understanding
  • Ability to work well with others and ask for help
  • Physical requirements include remote work and up to 10% travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality and efficient software solutions that deliver value to school district clients
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Ensure products are technically robust and aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with the product team, finding creative solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Write, test, debug, observe, and enhance the Aperture codebase
  • Write and review unit tests for Teacher and Student portals
  • Support the team's SDLC and deliver value for customers
  • Support regionalized assessments and Spring and Fall releases
  • Lead process or code improvements along the SLDC process
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and coworkers
  • Grow technical skillset and incorporate innovative solutions
  • Participate and/or lead the creation of a career vision
  • Complete spikes and/or tech proposals outlining multiple solutions to technical problems
