Qualifications

  • Expert at managing the recruiting process from top of funnel through offer for technical teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, etc) and bonus points if you have exposure doing so in both agency and in-house environments
  • Proven experience sourcing, engaging and activating passive candidates
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to toggle between technical and functional terminology across all levels of stakeholders and candidates
  • Experience working consultatively with hiring managers and stakeholders – balancing high-level service and delivery
  • Deep understanding of a successful high-touch experience with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers to ensure a positive experience
  • Creative thinking and intellectual curiosity - you love to question the first approach suggested and recommend improvements
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop concrete action plans for delivering results
  • Business-minded – we value recruiters who understand our business as a whole, not just tech
  • Analytical - we use data to drive decisions and we’re hoping you do too
  • Last but certainly not least, high EQ and empathy
  • Experience using Greenhouse Applicant Tracking Software
  • Familiarity with Slack and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full cycle recruitment from top of funnel through offer for multiple, complex searches, and employing creative sourcing approaches along the way to attract top Engineering and Product talent
  • Owning the recruiting delivery for the teams and functions you support
  • You’ll work closely with leaders to proactively understand needs and then position Kin for success in meeting those needs
  • This will include excellent communication with your hiring partners, and rapid iteration to your approach based on feedback and data
  • Building proactive sourcing and hiring strategies to ensure fair, high-quality hiring processes for candidates and internal clients
  • Leading key initiatives and projects within client groups and recruiting teams to support the continuous improvement of our recruiting operations and results
  • Mentorship of junior recruiters within Talent Acquisition
  • Critically evaluating our hiring processes and solutions to ensure that we’re approaching each specific problem with the best possible solution
