Masters in Business Administration required
15 years of relevant experience in senior roles in brand, marketing and product, preferably spanning start-up and larger organizations through periods of significant growth in a consumer branded field
Track record of thoughtful leadership & vision around brand strategy and evolution– balancing vision, creativity and business outcomes
High financial and commercial acumen - prior P&L ownership, strong command of data analysis and insight generation
Experience/comfort with science and technology (through educational background, prior experience)
Built high-value, enduring consumer brands (versus B2B) and know how to set a brand apart in a cluttered, otherwise-commoditized category
Experience in luxury, fashion, food, cosmetics, consumer tech or similar fields
Strong intuition and gut balanced with a love for insights and data-driven decision making
Proven strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and high degree of urgency
Ability to manage competing priorities and points of view and drive towards deadlines and outcomes
Love working at multiple levels - from strategic, long-term to engaging in the details
A great team leader and coach who is eager to roll up your sleeves and build a team that can have fun while working hard to change the world
Responsibilities
Bring the brand to the forefront—leading and inspiring big, creative thinking that drives differentiation, brand love, cultural conversation and cascades into impactful business results
Building out and leading an efficient and effective, multi-function team that includes brand, marketing, product (and insights)
Leading our marketing efforts and campaign development - from social and digital to launch events - that lands our brand in the hearts and minds of our consumers
Developing our long-term product portfolio vision and strategy that is inspired by and inspiring to the consumer, while being informed and shaped by our science and tech
Partnering closely with communications to ensure a unified external voice for UPSIDE
Defining and implementing strategy and structure for brand ambassadors and celebrity partners that support our brand and commercial goals (longer term, sales/GTM strategy will likely spin out of this team into a different function)
Building the influence of product, marketing and brand conversations across the enterprise
This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the leadership team and numerous cross-functional teams within the company
You’ll lead our small, but mighty team on brand, marketing and product and help pull these functions into a cohesive whole
You’ll partner with our external comms team and manage and own the relationship with our external agencies and partners around creative, brand, insights and campaign activations

Compensation Range: $250,000-$350,000*
