Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Self-starter, detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills (including Excel)
- Knowledge of banking industry and macroeconomic trends
- Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business degree
- 1-3 years, Financial planning and analysis Required
Responsibilities
- As a Financial Analyst II at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals
- You will work closely with our Finance team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations
- Coordinate, analyze and report financial performance to management, present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of results
- Analyze key performance indicators to identify underlying business issues and provide input for operational and strategic decisions
- Assist in creation of monthly forecasts, review against analyst estimates, provide support to strategic planning and goal achievement
- Support the annual business planning process
- Report weekly loan and deposit growth and summarize largest variances by client
- Run/update the FTP model monthly and address any discrepancies
- Identify and monitor key/strategic clients, client profitability analysis and benchmarking
- Support the internal and external reporting requirements of the Company (management, BOD, SEC, regulatory)
