Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong analytical skills (including Excel)
  • Knowledge of banking industry and macroeconomic trends
  • Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business degree
  • 1-3 years, Financial planning and analysis Required

Responsibilities

  • As a Financial Analyst II at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals
  • You will work closely with our Finance team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations
  • Coordinate, analyze and report financial performance to management, present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of results
  • Analyze key performance indicators to identify underlying business issues and provide input for operational and strategic decisions
  • Assist in creation of monthly forecasts, review against analyst estimates, provide support to strategic planning and goal achievement
  • Support the annual business planning process
  • Report weekly loan and deposit growth and summarize largest variances by client
  • Run/update the FTP model monthly and address any discrepancies
  • Identify and monitor key/strategic clients, client profitability analysis and benchmarking
  • Support the internal and external reporting requirements of the Company (management, BOD, SEC, regulatory)
