Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with loan accounting
- Active Public Trust security clearance (or ability to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Prepare loan reconciliations and associated journal vouchers
- Assist in clearing complex accounts payable, consisting of overpayments of balances or miscellaneous refunds
- Provide support for transcripts of accounts that are used for court, payoffs, borrower disputes, and other critical operations activities
- Manage incoming items and assign workload out of the action desk to staff
- Analyze and properly code a wide variety of requests from internal departments, service offices, and lenders
- Review and confirm accounts payable information to ensure that improper payments are not made
- Conduct research to validate that transaction posting
- Record collections, expenses, and/or journal vouchers
- Complete service office requests for loan adjustments
- Develop and update desk guides and other process documents
- Develop or support executive-level presentations
- Provide support for back-office fund administration
- Other duties as assigned
- Position is hybrid on-site and telework
