Qualifications

  • 1 year in a sales development/business development function or relevant work experience
  • Experience in using a CRM for managing customer/client information
  • Ability to meet a sales through general sales techniques and retention
  • Resilience and creativity in response to rejection
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A knack for making connections and gaining the trust of others
  • Ability to make Good time management skills and able to input/review data with a high level of accuracy
  • A customer-focused approach - you thrive on solving customer problems
  • Outstanding ability to prioritize work and tasks; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Intellectual curiosity and a high propensity for self-development and learning
  • The ability to self-motivate - the BDR role can be unstructured

  • Amenable to working US hours and flexibility to work on weekends if necessary

Responsibilities

  • Lead outreach to defined prospect list and create your own leads from competitors
  • Personalize communication to these leads
  • Comfortable with researching prospects and writing short, 5 bullet emails
  • Perform cold call over the phone as needed
  • Help our lead seller meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build prospect lists, sales pipelines and research prospects to send a personalized note
  • Follow up and build rapport with prospects
  • Research what advertisers are running with our competitors
  • Create or update customer records on the CRM system
  • Identify key decision makers within new accounts
  • Perform administrative duties, such as: Follow up on all client production orders and problem-solve any issues that may ariseo; Maintaining organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity
  • Background/knowledge on outlining process
