Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Operations Management, business consulting, or a related field
  • Proven track record of involvement in setting up and efficiently managing operational data teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Deep understanding of documenting workflows and best practices
  • Results-orientated, proactive, takes initiative
  • Collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong sense of integrity and professionalism
  • Foster an agile, high-performance, collaborative culture that is creative, open, supportive, and dynamic with high levels of continuous improvement mindset Able to manage a team by using data tools to create validation rules (both simple and complex)
  • Ability to lead teams in building dynamic dashboards, reports, and presentations on data quality and data status

Responsibilities

  • The VP of Operations will be responsible for 5 key areas:
  • Data Management (validating incoming data sources,& data integration)
  • Data Quality/Accuracy (ensuring best-in-class data quality/accuracy; building/tracking data Accuracy KPIs)
  • Data Governance (establishing best-in-class data lineage processes/ensuring adherence to policies)
  • Data Operations/Controls (ensuring operational controls are in place)
  • Representing Operations up down and across and outside the organization
  • Responsible for a team of experts that understand our data assets, how they are constructed, cycles of data delivery, and how data and products move within the environment at any given point in time
  • Maintain and evolve the processing rules/logic of integration and compilation of source data for optimal accuracy/data usage/product fitness
  • Define key performance indicators for data quality/accuracy performance
  • Work with Data Science, leading the creation and management of Data Accuracy KPI reporting to better understand coverage, accuracy, and recency of data
  • Strategy & Vision - Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to understand the evolving operational data needs of the organization and our clients
  • People Advocate - Inspires & motivates others to higher performance

  • For candidates based in California or New York City: Our base salary range for this position is $169,000 - $208,000
  • We consider your skills and experience, what similar jobs pay at companies of our size, and ensure fair pay among colleagues
  • Final base salary offer amounts are determined by factors including your experience and expertise
