Qualifications

  • 8+ years as a product designer, with at least 2 in recent design systems work
  • A mastery of Figma
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with stellar collaboration abilities
  • Mastery and able to guide on user experience design, including usability principles, user research methodology, testing techniques (A/B, Multi-Variant), design theory, and interaction design
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeve and get things done

Responsibilities

  • The Staff Product Designer is an experienced designer who enjoys collaborating with product, engineering, research, editorial, analytics, content strategy and other designers to build and grow a reusable library that supports speed and innovation towards a stellar end user experience
  • Be an integral part of the team that owns a world-class design system and help steer the growth and execution of the program
  • Build and maintain tokens and components that align with our design principles, the Vossi roadmap, and serve vertical teams’ needs
  • Help the design system grow as a true internal product: research and consider the needs and pain points of our internal users, as well as their touchpoints with the design system; collaborate on design system metrics; write OKRs and define the roadmap; contribute to intake, office hours, governance, and other process development and execution
  • Stay current on modern design system trends and technology
  • Help to foster a deep collaborative culture and promote partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Be an evangelist for the Vossi Design System: collaborate on comms plans, define and promote design and accessibility standards, optimize feedback channels and workflows between the Vossi team and other verticals
  • Mentor more junior designers on the highest caliber of craft and cross-functional partnership

  • Pay Range: $117,600.00 - $218,400.00 salary per year
