Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (English, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design)
- At least 10 years of experience as a Proposal Coordinator and/or marketing related roles
- Proficient and effective Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Candidate will be required to provide sample InDesign work as well as complete task during the interview process to ensure InDesign aptitude is commensurate with the job requirements
- Construction/Engineering/Architecture industry experience is required
- Professional demeanor and communication style
- Strong writing skills
- Highly organized
- Superior interpersonal skills, proven ability to build cross-functional consensus, and effectively collaborate with multiple co-workers

Responsibilities
- This role is also responsible for leading other company Marketing tasks such as social media, website content and public outreach; the role reports to Alternative Delivery Director who works from the same office (Centennial, Colorado)
- Act as the proposal manager for heavy civil project solicitations in SEMA’s Rocky Mountain, Texas, California, and Florida districts
- This could include the management of proposal coordinators and content writers working on multiple proposals at one time
- Support the alternate delivery department during all stages of the proposal development process including:
- Developing and managing pursuit calendars and deliverables
- Analyzing RFP requirements and developing draft compliance matrices
- Formatting proposal documents using InDesign to ensure they are properly formatted, compliant with RFP requirements, easy to read, and visually appealing
- Coordinating proposal reviews
- Supporting alternate delivery leadership team in pursuit kickoff meetings and color reviews
- Managing invitations for various proposal team meetings
- Develop and maintain proposal department content library and update content for the alternate delivery department
- Review and edit content deliverables to ensure they meet RFP requirements and SEMA’s quality standards
- Maintain ongoing communication with alternate delivery leadership team and pursuit technical leads on current projects
- Additional administrative support required throughout the pursuit process
- Manage Marketing direction for SEMA construction
- This could include social media platform postings, strategy of media placement, website management, marketing documents and public outreach
- Other corporate marketing duties will be required, accounting for less than 25% of the positions time
