Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 3+ years of professional Graphic Design experience
  • Proven experience in design project coordination or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, print production processes and file preparation
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving minded
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or Revit, and Google Suite
  • Digital illustration and/or hand lettering skills are a benefit
  • Incredibly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
  • Strong work ethic and the desire to grow and work with a small but dynamic team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to travel both locally and throughout the country to client sites
  • Open to supporting physical project installs; furniture assembly and staging, accessorizing, accent painting, overseeing vendor work & delivery, creating & managing a project punch list through completion, etc

Responsibilities

  • As a Production Designer at Wit.Co, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of design elements based on art direction provided by our lead designers
  • This can include translating sketches into detailed graphic wall treatments, designing functional building signage, and creating detailed drawings for custom fabricated pieces we may dream up for a space
  • You will collaborate closely with our design team, suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure the details of the design vision are communicated clearly and that the finished product is executed efficiently, on time, and with the highest level of quality
  • Project Coordination:
  • Assist in the development and production of wall treatments, signage and other graphic elements by adapting and creating artwork to meet the client and space requirements
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop design and installation plans based on client and building specifications
  • Optimize workflow to improve efficiency and reduce lead times while maintaining quality
  • Documentation & File Preparation:
  • Maintain organized project files, including design plans, revisions, and approvals
  • Prepare, or coordinate externally the preparation of, custom print specification sheets and carpentry drawings based on approved designs ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal team, clients, external contractors, and suppliers
  • Provide guidance and support to installation teams on client sites as needed
  • Fluctuate between part-time and full-time
