We are seeking a Americas Key Account Manager that will help us grow and bring hyper focus on some of the most important customers at Porex. The position will closely partner with four Key Accounts in the Americas by developing and executing strategies to defend our supply position, grow business share against competition and develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure continued future business. Internally, the position will be responsible to develop, plan and manage these key... accounts in their day-to-day business needs in close collaboration with internal stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Marketing and R&D, and will report to the Global Commercial Director. Key Attributes The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, (Spanish is a plus), to manage customer expectations, and effectively manage all facets of the business relationship. They will have strong relationship-building skills, as well as exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Candidates should be able to highlight their IMPACT throughout their organization(s) and able to thrive in a fast-paced and result- oriented environment. We expect this role to have a continuous improvement mindset and to help drive this culture throughout the organization. Key Deliverables Include: Drive Effective Account Management Manage customers' expectations, identify decision makers, build relationships, and be the primary advocate for customer business needs and requirements Develop account strategies and tactical plans for Key Account base including pricing and supply contract reviews and negotiations Orchestrate and collaborate with internal resources to consistently and effectively meet or exceed customers' supply expectations Procure accurate, timely Demand Forecasts from key customers by which to effectively manage item demand cycles Responsible to develop strategic account business plans including key success objectives, performance measurement parameters and internal stakeholder coordination Discover and report significant market and customer trends (including competitive activity) as a means toward supporting marketing efforts to leverage intelligence to achieve growth objectives Develop strong relationships with existing and new key account stakeholders Develop broad and deep relationships by meeting with multiple levels of contacts, understanding the key customer needs, business model and strategy Manage complex, intricate customer relationships to protect and expand the base business. Unearth new product opportunities by utilizing effective prospecting, working with internal marketing experts, networking with technology partners, and leveraging relationships with existing customer network Optimize Profit Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals focused on establishing the total value delivered by Porex to key account base in order to deepen existing relationships and position us for growth where possible Unearth new product opportunities by utilizing effective prospecting, working with internal marketing experts, networking with technology partners, and leveraging relationships with existing customer network Utilize best-in-class pricing methodologies based on total value provided to achieve highest return on investments Drive the Supply Agreement process and utilize creative, appropriate negotiation strategies focused on outcomes that are mutually beneficial to Porex and our key customers. Qualifications Core Competencies Able to travel 40-50%, pending COVID travel restrictions Proven track record of success in customer care and management toward achieving revenue, profit, and customer retention goals. Highly responsive to customer needs and perceptive to issues within existing accounts. Adept at using technology for effective management of responsibility: Internet, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, etc. Excellent verbal, analytical and written skills. Knowledge of financial terms, demand forecasting, manufacturing, and global supply best practices. Intellectual curiosity coupled with a strong desire for on-going learning and development Strong organizational and time management skills. Flexible to respond to changing priorities and issues, able to multi-task, work on multiple concurrent projects. Comfortable with ambiguity. Proactive, motivated, strategic thinker who and relishes working with limited direction and oversight. Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment working across function and business units. Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing decision makers, and persuading professionals at all levels. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree with focus on business administration, marketing, engineering or related field. Advanced degree a plus 3 years sales, marketing, sales engineering and/or business development experience working for a manufacturing company promoting products in a Supplier-OEM relationship Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
