As a QA Engineer, you will perform regular feature, regression, and automated testing on our Salesforce managed package product. In order to ensure a stable and reliable deliverable for our customers, you will become an expert in the testing of our product. You will work closely with the Quality Assurance Engineer and Salesforce Quality Architect to build upon existing test strategies. By working to automate our test plans, you... enable the engineering team to have confidence in the features they are delivering. Most importantly, you have a strong desire to grow your manual testing skills into automation testing skills. What you'll do: Become an expert on the product's core features so that you can learn the most efficient way to test the product Execute regression test plans in order of priority determined by Salesforce Manual QA Engineer using tools like Robot Framework, TestRail, and Jira Assist Salesforce Quality Architect in adding automated tests to environment builds using tools like CumulusCI, SalesforceDX, Salesforce REST API, Salesforce Composite API, and Bash Scripts As you grow into the role, help identify where to run automated tests efficiently Provide input and support to engineers by building the team's quality mindset Participate in an ever-improving cross-functional agile scrum team And of course , be a self-starter who knows when to ask questions and is extremely detail-oriented Become familiar with AWS microservices in order to support backend architecture Your Experience: A well-rounded background in Salesforce Platform development as a QA, Admin, and/or Developer Advanced knowledge in software testing Experience creating and executing test plans and generating technical documentation A systems mindset that considers the edge cases, application failures, and the life cycle of a build Experience testing APIs and integrations is advantageous A healthy track record of problem-solving and a roll up your sleeves mentality Close collaboration with team members who are working on automated testing Experience leading the testing effort on multiple projects, including delivery of test strategy and test plan Able to assess the impacts due to changes in the application Ability to define, scope, and enable automation opportunities (preferred) Web-based manual and automation UI testing experience (preferred) About us: AgentSync is a powerful, easy-to-use Compliance as a Service solution, directly integrating regulatory database sources of truth (i.e. NIPR, FINRA) with core business systems (i.e. Salesforce) so we can automate the critical business processes associated with these compliance requirements.
