As the Key Account Manager-Market Development (KAM-MD), you will: Shape market resources to expand use of Janssen products and patient access to both IV and Subcutaneous portfolio Define key National/Regional/State level strategies and tactics to protect and grow our total portfolio Partner cross-functionally to support the business with solutions-based market protection/growth strategies Work closely with local Immunology teams to leverage opportunities and remove barriers to growth and access Differentiate the value of JBI portfolio from competitor products Create or identify new Site of Care solutions Forge internal and external business partnerships to exceed business goals through innovation and optimization Execute, optimize and effectively maintain contract relationships with key customers Exhibit leadership and deep market knowledge while effectively... teaming with all Johnson & Johnson partners The KAM-MD will interface with and influence a wide range of cross-disciplinary stakeholders, including but not limited to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, infusion provider consultants, decision makers, business owners, C-level executives, directors, and managers in existing accounts and in new or emerging customers and channels. The KAM-MD will leverage national, regional, state, and account level market knowledge to develop and drive the strategies and solutions at a national, regional, state, and local level. The KAM-MD will report to the RBD but will align with the national, regional and district management teams while collaborating with cross-functional corporate office and field-based internal and external partners. The KAM-MD will have contracting and contract maintenance responsibilities with specific customers and must utilize those contracts to support portfolio and corporate business strategies. The KAM-MD will be an innovator for our business and develop new concepts, programs, and opportunities for patient access to our entire portfolio while enhancing existing market assets through innovative collaborations with both new and existing customers and account channels. The KAM-MD role requires the ability to focus on the following imperatives: Understand the immunology marketplace while identifying and developing (shape) business opportunities that are aligned with current corporate and/or brand strategies Proactively identify paths to streamline access to the JBI Immunology IV portfolio with a focus on maintaining access to legacy brands while accelerating appropriate utilization of growth brands Develop innovative opportunities and partnerships that support growth of the JBI Immunology subcutaneous injection product portfolio by addressing emerging market trends and building relationships with key stakeholders and customers Identifies, champions, leads, and coordinates market development opportunities with internal partners (ex: Marketing, Advocacy, Strategic Customer Group) to expand access to, and utilization of, the portfolio; providing tangible business performance contributions with measurable outcomes Functions as a market knowledge expert and strategic partner with local and national management teams (ex: Regional Business Director, District Manager, Strategic Market Director, NSD, DOM) Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and MBA, or advanced degree, preferred 10 or more years of direct selling and/or marketing experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industries with experience in large account management, business development or related expertise within Immunology preferred Ability to travel up to 50% of the time A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States Reside in the geography and/or willing to relocate to it Experience in, and comprehensive understanding of, the commercial payer and public payer reimbursement methodologies for specialty biologics Keen understanding of the buy-and-bill model for specialty biologics Understanding of various marketplace business models relating to specialty biologics (IOI, HOPD, ITP, SPP, IMC, etc.) Understanding of payer benefit designs including pharmacy and medical benefits, co-payments, co-insurance, etc. Ability to understand and communicate market trends in healthcare related to the impact on the customer landscape beyond just the Immunology promoted therapeutic area Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in innovation and exploration Ability to work in expanding and evolving partnerships with minimal conflict Ability to lead peers and partners without authority Excellent written and oral communication skills Salary Range: $100K -- $150K Minimum Qualification Account Management, Sales Management & OperationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
