The Business Development Manager works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. You will define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds main customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains knowledge of current market opportunities and conditions.

You Will

Prospects for new customers by using consultative selling skills to identify specific needs. Prepare comprehensive and impactful proposals/presentations designed to provide solutions to customer needs and present solutions-based offering, defining potential project scope, schedule, and budget.
Visit customer sites to evaluate mechanical system and identify opportunities for solutions, developing initial engineering concepts.
Develop growth strategies and plans by encouraging productive business relationships with prospective customers that builds individual customer trust in the Watts solutions.
Understand target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
Identify global business opportunities and partnerships, with focused efforts in N. America.
Set and build the vision, strategy and for new strategic partnerships to create revenue success. In addition to customers, this may include equipment suppliers and mechanical subcontractors.
Advise us and help in the development of service programs.
Maintain understanding of external environment by interaction with our Manufacturing Representative network.
Resolve conflicts and facilitate changes amongst peer groups to ensure resolution of channel conflict and other organizational challenges and opportunities.
Work with Watts brands to achieve long-term and short-term revenue and profit goals.
Establish a system of communications throughout the organization.

You Have

Bachelor's degree preferred.
7+ years experience working with industrial technical products and applications.
Developed presentation skills to work with people at all levels and responsibilities inside and outside the company.
Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills.
Provide technical insight into Watts product line and solutions offerings, familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts and practices.
Creativity and an upbeat, positive attitude.
Perform on a strategic level.
Computer efficiency – Intermediate level in MS Office.
Ability to travel to field sites - Travel up to 75%.

Salary Range: $110 - 130K plus bonus
