Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators (KPIs), covering revenue, cost of sales, margin quality, and operating expenses.
Monitor performance indicators, identifying trends and explaining unanticipated variances.

Strategic Initiatives:

Develop financial models and analyses to support new strategic initiatives.
Provide recommendations for revenue adjustments and risk mitigation before program roll-out.

Reporting and Analysis:

Analyze complex financial information, commission reports, and provide accurate and timely recommendations to executive management.
Fulfill ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from executive team members.

Team Collaboration:

Support finance department team members as needed.
Prepare benchmarking, trend, and variance analysis, contributing to management presentations.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
3-6 years of relevant professional experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills.
Advanced M/S Excel, PowerPivot, and graphing expertise; experience with Business Intelligence platforms (Qlik or Tableau preferred).
Proactive work ethic, sense of urgency, and accountability.

Communication and Collaboration:

Ability to convey work product and strategic insights effectively.
Superior interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.

Independence and Motivation:

Ability to work independently with strong self-management and self-motivation.
Curious mind with a desire to question data drivers and investigate variances and outliers.
