LTSis currently seeking a Senior Graphic Designer and document remediator to support our program with the US Courts. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Create Section 508 Compliant documentation and publications.
Solid experience leading projects
Convert documents in electronic format (Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, Adobe Acrobat) into Section 508 compliant InDesign documents or publications.
Create the materials in the latest version of Adobe InDesign following graphics standards and delivery schedule.
Ensure publications are designed as Section 508 compliant PDFs for online dissemination.
Update existing InDesign publications, guides and/or handbooks.
Develop new 508 conformant graphics, charts, or tables.
Create new pamphlets, handbooks, and policy guides that adhere to Section 508 guidelines.
Ensure all new graphics, charts, and tables created shall be Section 508 compliant.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years’ experience of demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities utilizing Adobe InDesign.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
Expertise working with InDesign.
Expertise in editing and converting existing documentation to Section 508 compliant publications.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively withothers.
Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
