Responsibilities

Review financial statement for accuracy and compliance
Prepare and enter journal entries into Quickbooks, or other department chosen software, in accordance with GAAP
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales tax process for multiple locations
Prepare account reconciliations for accounts to assess validity, correctness and appropriateness of balances; prepare adjusting entries when required
Assist with month end closing, meeting processing and reporting deadlines
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Verify that all transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures
Other duties as requested, performing such other accounting or administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Must have excellent communication skills, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Must meet monthly deadlines to support accurate company reporting.
Must adhere to accounting expectations expressed by the Accounting Manager

Physical Demands

Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, and/or lift
Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
Regularly required to talk or listen.
Sometimes required to lift heavy packages (20 pounds or greater).
Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree: accounting preferred, minor in business is a huge plus.
Minimum Desired Experience: 5+ years
