Overview:Dallas based private wealth management firm is looking to add value to their team by hiring a Staff Accountant. This is a critical role for the organization and will directly support the Corporate Controller with great exposure to leadership and important stake holders. Duties And Responsibilities

Primary owner and system administrator of the Bank's asset and liability management system (Abrigo) and Net Interest Income forecast
Prepare quarterly bank regulatory reporting (Call Report)
Responsible for monthly investments accounting
Assist with internal and external auditor requests
Maintain the fixed assets subledger
Serve as backup for daily bank reconciliations
Document, prepare, input, and post journal entries into the general ledger
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts
Finance and accounting special projects
Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Position Requirements

2-3 years public accounting or industry experience in the financial services industry
Accounting degree with CPA license (or progress towards CPA license)
Banking and/or wealth management industry experience a plus
General ledger accounting experience preferred
Technology savvy with advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience working in cloud-based ERP accounting system (Oracle NetSuite a plus)
