Full-Stack Application Developer

In addition to being the domestic sales leader in police traffic radar, Applied Concepts, Inc. manufactures and sells Lidar speed measurement devices, along with a variety of Traffic Calming Speed Sensors, roadside Speed Trailers, roadside Speed Signs, and a broad line of Sport Speed Measurement products.

Job Summary

The Group Manager would have a staff of 6 in-house Application Developer and about 5 India based Developers. You would report to the Application Development Group Manager.

Applied Concepts has been using PICK or Multi-Value Database programmed systems to operate every facet of its business since 1995.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Full-Stack Application Developer experienced in Python, JavaScript and Multi-value Database integration (OpenQM) to work within a six-person Application Development Team at the Applied Concepts, Inc. 2-building campus in Richardson, Texas.

We are looking for an exceptional individual that can collaborate with our small Application Development Team and maintain and expand applications for all departments within our company which include: a CRM for Field Sales and Inside Sales, Customer Service systems, full Accounting systems, HR, complete Engineering systems, an MRP for Purchasing, a full Manufacturing control system, Quality Control, and Shipping/Receiving.

We will be particularly interested if you have:

A small company background and are used to "wearing many hats"
Full-Stack development experience using Python, JavaScript, complex CSS, utilizing JSON integration with Multi-Value databases.
OpenQM - Multi-Value Database programming experience
Unidata, jBase, PickBasic programming experience
Linux development and networking experience

Job Requirements:

You must currently live near (or be willing to relocate to) the Richardson, Texas area
A four-year degree with 10 years' experience
A two-year degree with 15 years' experience
Prior software development experience
Prior management experience
Strong communication skills
Pass a drug screening test
