WE OPENED OUR DOORS IN 1849. Our founder Charles Ducommun supplied critical hardware during the California Gold Rush. From metals to business loans, Ducommun has provided aviation pioneers (Lindbergh, Douglas and Lockheed, to name a few) with solutions since the birth of the aerospace industry in Southern California. We're proud to be the oldest continuously operating company in California. Today, Ducommun is a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. We specialize in two core areas – Electronic Systems and Structural Systems – to produce complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.
