Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Data Analytics:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable analytical solutions.
Develop and implement data analytics strategies to streamline research processes, improve patient outcomes, and advance research initiatives.
Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as regression analysis, multivariate analysis, time-series analysis, supervised machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, fine-tuning large language models for regression and classification, and other appropriate methods to analyze complex datasets.
Employ real-time analytics for monitoring.
Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms.

Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion In Data Analysis

Incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations into the analysis of clinical trial data to ensure sensitivity to disparities in patient demographics.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve equity in healthcare access and outcomes through data-driven insights.

Mentorship

Provide mentorship to junior data analysts to ensure effective execution of roles and responsibilities.

Quality Assurance And Control

Data wrangling and preprocessing pipelines.
Proficient in utilizing APIs to extract data.
Conduct thorough quality control checks and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Reporting And Communication

Strong communication skills to present results clearly and concisely to different target audiences, including stakeholders and technical team members.
Prepare detailed reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
Provide actionable recommendations based on analytic insights.

Requirements

Advanced academic qualifications with a Master's or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Biostatistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science).
Significant experience in life-science analytics.
Exposure to clinical research.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A team player that collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in working with enterprise-scale digital systems.
Ability to code in R and Python.
Ability to use other data visualization platforms.
